Anyone hyping for the coming Ash very own Mega Lucario? I have been wanted Ash to have a mega evolve pokemon and now the writer finally answer my prayer!

Actually there are are romours saying ash's gengar will gigantamax plus lucario can't gigantamax and I doubt whether Mega Lucario can even dynamax.

Why the spoiler? Almost everyone at this point know that ash will be getting a mega lucario from the promo for future episode which was released earlier.
The writers have been fixing a lot of complaints with ash's journey in past generation like ash not keeping the haunter and not having a dragonite in the original series which is why he got a gengar and dragonite. People where also a little furious that ash did get the riolu from the 2 parter episode in gen 4 so they gave him a lucario and also as you said ash didn't get a mega evolved mon in gen 6 so they are giving him a mega ring and lucarionite.

I mean its been coming for awhile now. They have to include as much as they can to attract new buyers

At this point is kinda meh considering that other characters have the same pokemon capable of Mega if it was a new one then it would make things special for Ash like in Kalos.
In this his own Lucario is nothing different compared to Korrina or Gurkin.

It's funny that milcery evolved into vanilla form alcremie which suits well with his vanilla personality. Actually the way in which milcery evolved was acurate to the games. You just need to spin around a certain number of times with a milcery in the party and it will evolve and there is no level cap either so it can even evolve at lvl 1.

Opal continues to be the best, I LOVE that they really leaned into her wild personality for the anime! Also, Cynthia is finally returning to the anime!!! I seriously can't wait to see her and Satoshi battle. It's sure to be a great one!
